ON THE EDGE
A member of the Druid Peak Pack, this wolf suddenly appeared on the edge of the road for a few seconds before turning and loping off across the valley. A half hour later I watched as it chased a herd of elk on the hills above the Institute. This photo was taken when the Druid den site was still east of the Lamar Ranger Station.
